As we begin the new year, Vision Montessori in Chantilly, VA will welcome children back with excitement, fresh routines, and winter‑themed learning across all classrooms. January will bring opportunities for discovery, creativity, and growth as each age group explores seasonal topics and meaningful values. Our children will learn about Martin Luther King Jr. through age‑appropriate stories about kindness and friendship.

Classroom Highlights

• Infants: Our infants will enjoy a cozy month of gentle exploration. Exploring hibernation, winter animals, and simple sensory play. They will build motor skills through tummy time, reaching, and guided movement.

• Toddlers: Our toddlers will begin the year with hands‑on learning and winter discoveries. Practicing letters D, E, and F and reviewing numbers 1–3. They will explore winter animals, polar bears, and snow and ice through sensory and science activities.

• Primary: Primary students will engage in winter‑themed lessons that build independence and curiosity. They will explore Arctic Animals, Snow & Ice, MLK Jr., and Cozy Winter Fun.

• Kindergarten: Our Pre‑K/KG learners will strengthen academic foundations through winter‑inspired lessons. Language work will include phonics, blending, ending sounds, comprehension, and writing. Math lessons will focus on addition, subtraction, and word problems.
