Spring has arrived, bringing sunshine, fresh blooms, and a renewed sense of wonder throughout our Vision Montessori of Chantilly classrooms. From our tiniest infants to our enthusiastic kindergarteners, April is filled with hands on learning, outdoor exploration, and joyful seasonal activities that celebrate growth, curiosity, and nature.
Across all programs, children will explore themes such as rain and clouds, Easter, seeds, butterflies, Earth Day, kites, farm animals, puddles, and baby animals—each thoughtfully designed to nurture independence, creativity, and a love of learning

Classroom Highlights

• Infants: Our littlest learners will enjoy gentle sensory experiences inspired by spring. Themes include chicks, Easter, puddles, Earth Day, and baby animals, explored through soft textures, water play, and nature-based activities.
  Spring is here, and our little ones are blooming right along with the season!

• Toddlers: Toddlers will dive into springtime wonder with themes such as birds, Easter, butterflies, Earth Day, and farm animals. They’ll continue practicing letters m, n, o, reviewing numbers, and exploring spring weather through simple science experiments and sensory play. Our toddlers will explore spring themes through hands on activities, music, art, movement, and sensory play.

• Primary: Primary students will explore rain and clouds, plant seeds, celebrate Easter, and learn about Earth Day through stories, art, and hands on science. They’ll also study kites, spring flowers, birds, and butterflies, connecting nature to early geography and botany lessons.“We will explore rain and clouds and learn how weather helps plants grow.”

• Pre-K/Kindergarten: Our older learners will deepen their academic foundations through phonetic reading, writing, addition, subtraction, and word problems. Spring themes—rain and clouds, seeds, Earth Day, and kites—will be paired with engaging science experiments and geography lessons about continents and countries. This month, our students will explore the wonders of the season through hands on activities and engaging lessons.​
